Complete Form 22 and submit it to a designated child protection service provider/ designated social worker to investigate the sexual abuse case and ensure the safety of the concerned child.
Provide therapeutic counselling to treat behavioural, mental, social, and emotional support using the Person-Centred Approach. The goal of this intervention is to create an environment that is empathetic and non-judgemental. To also assist to navigate and provide skills and techniques that the child can utilize to cope with the traumatic experience.
Other intervention strategies that we use include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
We also provide emotional support to parents to build resilience as they need to support their children especially if the case has been reported because there will be court proceedings that they will need to attend.
Provide Monitoring Services to ensure that the case is managed professionally and effectively by the designated child protective service provider/designated social worker assigned to the statutory case.
Provide after care to the child that include support groups.
